Finally, at long last, Kuroki Meisa released her very first single! I’ve been waiting for her to release one for such a long time. Anyways, the title track is the theme song to promote Coca-cola’s new “Adult Cola,” which is basically just Coke mixed with Vodka. Instead of starting this review off with my thoughts about each song, let’s begin by sharing pictures of her cd cover and some promo pics.

This is my absolute favorite picture from this single!

SHOCK -運命- (Unmei)
VERY CATCHY! That’s basically what this track is all about.
From her previously released digital single, I never realized how deep her voice was until now.
I’m SO GLAD she does not have a high voice.
Her somewhat low voice is perfect for the R&B genre.
Basically, you must listen to this song.

Wasted
Unlike the title track, this song is has a more pop feel to it.
Compared to the title song, I don’t really like this song that much.
However, I do like the chorus.
Meisa’s high notes aren’t the greatest but who cares. This is still a good song.

Bad Girl (Bachlogic Remix)
I don’t know what to really say about this song.
I like it, but the music in the back kind of puts me off a bit.
It can do without the trance-like effect and make it strictly an R&B track.
Overall, this song is pretty good.

SHOCK -運命- (Instrumental)
What’s there to say? It’s just the instrumental. Good for trying to sing her song though x]

Rating: 9.5 out of 10
