Episode 03 Review
This time I’m not going into every single detail like I did with episodes 1 and 2. Why? I’m tired and too lazy to do it. Anyways, ON WITH THE REVIEW!
Episode 3’s main focus is Satoru’s homeroom teacher decides to come make a home visit and Masaru comes to terms with his past that made him fear women. Lots of hilarious cosplay going on here. The best – Satoru in a maid outfit. Well it turns out that Satoru’s “homeroom teacher” is the girl that made fun of Masaru when he was a kid after he had asked her out. It’s okay Masaru, she’s not that pretty anyway! At the same time, Takeru tries to help Masaru overcome his fear using strange methods. And here’s the truth, the lady that showed up as Satoru’s homeroom teacher is actually a notorious house thief. No one finds out until the end of the episode, even though it was SUPER obvious. Ignorant fools lol. Chisato discovers the reason why Satoru became a shut-in – bullying in school. EVIL CHILDREN THESE DAYS >=[ In the end, he ends up going outside to try and help Chisato (after she said very caring words about him). As for Masaru, Chisato tries to help him by giving him an invention called High Power Voice and lies to him about it being able to hear people’s feelings/thoughts. He ends up using it on her when she’s not looking making him think that “she loves him exactly the way he is.” Also, as Chisato is taking out the house thief while jumping around, she lands in Masaru’s arms. HE’S FINALLY TOUCHING A GIRL! and NOT freaking out! Let’s start up the fireworks and celebrate for this miracle has come. Cute and funny all at the same time~.
For some side plots, we meet Sho’s ex-wife for the first time. And apparently, Sho doesn’t get that it’s his son’s birthday as she tries to hint it to him. Sad, isn’t it? He’s too concentrated on making money (the money is for something bigger). Kyoko informs Sho that there’s a treasure hidden somewhere in the house and he goes searching for it. However, it’s actually toys for his son that Shinzo has bought for his birthday. See Sho! He’s not such a bad guy like you thought. The only reason why he told you to abort the kid was to make you step up to the plate of fatherhood and take responsibility. What a nice father. Of course, I would’ve thought up another way to say that to him; not tell him abort the child. Also, Chisato finally moves into the Trick Heart Castle and is given the worst room in the house; figures that’d happen. Fuu gets a letter from Shinzo, dated right before he died. At the end of the episode, Tokita calls Chisato and asks her to return the 100 million yen asap. Hmmm .. what could be the reason? Well, whatever the reason is, she can’t just pop 100 million yen out her butt and hand it to him!
